Do you ever wonder why “some” churches feel the need to spend millions of $ on materialistic things when their churches aren’t even growing. Instead of spending $ to help the need & the poor out in our communities. Winning them over with the love of Christ instead of OVERFILLING those IN the church who really do nothing with it. Just an observation!

When it comes to God desiring us to have nice things… I’m not sure where most people get their theology from but my Bible says that God desires good things for us yes, but more importantly than “good things” He … Read Moredesires the lost and the porr and the needy and the widow to be taken care of and assisted… He even went as far as to call that “Pure Religion”. . I don’t think we are to live poor or needy, but I also don’t think we are to live above the average person WITHOUT majorly helping those around us in desperate need. If those “some” churches spent more money assiting the needy and the poor and the orphans and the widows around them and around the world we would then begin to see the TRUE heart of God… and what is that… In the Words of Christ and of my dear friend Ja’red who reminded me just now that it is about “building the Kindom of Christ and not of the world, riches or anything else..” that is what it truly comes down to… Yes, Christ desires good things for us, BUT what we have we are to give unto the poor and the needy and use what God has given us for the betterment of HIS Kingdom, not ours or the church building, or anything else…
